Boob Nerds Refund Policy

At Boob Nerds, my goal is to provide evidence-based, personalized lactation support that helps your family feel confident, informed, and supported. This Refund Policy outlines how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are handled so expectations are clear and fair for everyone.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

I understand that life with a baby is unpredictable. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment:

• Please give at least 24 hours’ notice.
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with more than 24 hours’ notice will not incur a fee.

• Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged 50% of the service fee, unless it is due to illness or an emergency. I’m a parent too — I get it.

• No-show appointments (missing your visit without any communication) will be charged the full appointment fee.

Refunds for Paid Services

Because lactation visits are a professional service where time, assessment, and expertise are provided:

• Completed visits are non-refundable.
If you feel something was missed or you need additional help, I’m always happy to follow up and support you.

• If payment was made in advance and you cancel with more than 24 hours’ notice, you may receive a full refund or apply the payment to a future appointment.

Insurance Through The Lactation Network (TLN)

If your visit is covered through TLN:

• No refunds are issued, as TLN handles billing directly.
 

Private Pay & Superbills

If you are paying out of pocket:

• Superbills can be provided upon request for you to submit to your insurance.
Reimbursement is not guaranteed, and any insurance denials are the responsibility of the client.

Classes 

• Classes may be refunded with 48 hours' notice.
